Safe, decent, and affordable homes are critical in helping families achieve the strength and self-reliance needed to build better lives for themselves and their families. It empowers them to overcome barriers that so often stand between them and better, healthier, and more financially stable lives. For the last 43 years, Habitat for Humanity Northern Utah has helped families achieve the goal of homeownership and helped homeowners complete critical home repairs. We are continually working to fulfill our mission— “Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope”—moving ever closer to our vision of “A world where everyone has a decent place to live.” We are excited to welcome a new homeowner to our Habitat family this year. But the work doesn’t stop there. We will continue to seek innovative and collaborative ways to bring affordable homeownership to Northern Utah. We have a bold goal: to complete more home repairs than ever before! We will help low-income homeowners with critical repairs, ensuring their homes are safe, secure, and warm.
